Information we collect
Account details you provide (name, email), approximate or precise location when you grant permission, deals you view or save, and redemption records created when a merchant scans your QR code.
How we use location
Location is used to rank promotions by distance and to show nearby stores on the map. We do not sell location data, and we do not track you in the background. If you deny permission, PromoDito falls back to a city-level default.
Sharing with merchants
When you redeem an offer, the merchant sees the promotion, the redemption code and the time of the visit. Merchants receive aggregate analytics only — never your contact details or movement history.
Data retention
Redemption records are kept for 24 months for fraud prevention and merchant reporting. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account, which removes your personal data within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you may access, correct, object to processing, or request deletion of your personal data. Email support@promodito.com and we will respond within 15 days.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to keep you signed in, remember saved deals and cache content for offline use. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
